01 · The room
fnarchitects.ae is registered. It resolves to nothing.
The practice is active. Its body of work has no permanent home.
When a client, jury, or collaborator looks for the work, the story is being told through fragments elsewhere, or not at all.
02 · The direction
Scope
Two ways to build it, scoped in full. The recommendation has not changed. The direction follows the reference Farid shared: the projects do the talking and the site stays simple to run, with enough character that it could only be his.
Terms All figures include 5% VAT. The commission includes two design revision rounds, and corrections continue through the build until launch. It carries no other costs: it covers the first year of hosting and CMS, and hosting after that costs AED 800 a year.
03 · The plan
Scroll and the commission runs ahead of you, day by day. The panel beside it is the production board. The link you are reading now becomes it the morning we begin, and from then on it shows the true state of the work: what is finished, and who holds the next move. Farid never has to ask.

The yes
A reply in the group. The first invoice follows, and a one-page selection sheet with it. The clock starts when the selected projects and photography access are in hand.
Days 1–7 · Two directions
Two design directions built from the selected works, presented in the group before the week ends. Both are real pages that scroll, so the choice is made on the thing itself.
Day 7 · The hour
One call. Farid picks a direction, confirms the works, and tells us where the line sits on the private projects. That is the hour.
Days 8–14 · The build
The chosen direction gets two rounds of revisions. Then pages land on the board one by one as they finish, and corrections continue until launch. Anyone in the group can look in at any point, so there is no curtain moment at day twenty.
Days 15–20 · The finish
We set the copy in English and Arabic, check the right-to-left pages line by line, and test every screen size. The domain goes live quietly, with no announcement until Farid wants one.
Note The dates hold as long as the two dependencies arrive on time. If something slips, the board says so the same day, and it says whose move it is.
04 · What you receive
We format and upload all of them, and we design each page around its own project: large photography, the story in two paragraphs, and credits written the way they should read.
The practice in one screen. A visitor understands the work before reading a word.
A definitive written profile of the practice, drafted by us, corrected by Farid, and published under his name.
A full back end on Sanity, set up around your content: project details, galleries, English and Arabic text. Add a project, swap an image, reorder the work, publish. We train your team on it.
Both editions launch together. We translate, review, and upload the Arabic for the agreed pages, with right-to-left layouts and typography chosen for Arabic.
The domain finally answers. Custom-built on Astro and hosted on Vercel, with launch, technical setup, and the first year of hosting and CMS inside the commission. After that, hosting costs AED 800 a year. The domain stays with your current provider.
Name a collection, pick three or four projects, set the order, publish. One link carries the FNA profile, contact details, and those works, ready to send to a prospective client in place of a PDF. Your team builds them in the CMS, at no extra cost.
The CMS, hosting, and source files sit in accounts under your name. For thirty days after launch we fix bugs and help your team settle into the CMS, with or without custodianship.
The standard
Original material studies from the July proposal. The standard for every page of the monograph is the one in this image: a groove cut clean, and light that shows it.
05 · What we need
One
The shortlist of works, chosen from the selection sheet we send on day zero.

Access to the photography of those works.

One hour of Farid's time, on day seven.
06 · After launch
AED 1,000 / month
Optional. Archive management, content updates, and up to four individually designed project pages a month from supplied materials, older work from the archive or new projects. Once final photographs and copy are received, a page is published within one week. Without it, your team adds projects through the CMS using the existing layouts, and the site keeps running.
One message starts it. The selection sheet arrives the same day, two design directions follow inside the first week, and this page starts keeping score.
